An enterprise Figma library spanning 35 product files and 1.6M+ component instances had no reliable system of record for which instances resolved to real code — and AI agents were being asked to generate UI against it. I built the measurement, classification, and distribution infrastructure to make it trustworthy.
Two AI-integration decisions inside the same organization, same evaluation discipline: I adopted MCP as versioned infrastructure now used across 5+ teams, and — on a separate AI search product — confirmed via the index schema that a built vector-search path had stored zero bytes of data before removing it alongside an unneeded MCP tool layer. A reusable framework for matching integration pattern to system shape, not to what's currently trending.
